Pallet Account Audit

Determining the current position of your pallet accounts is an important early step in the process of implementing positive change. A PPS Pallet Account Audit will not only provide you detail regarding your current pallet account(s) position (surplus/deficit), but also an overview on current pallet practices and areas of concern and recommendations for improvement.  

The PPS Pallet Account Audit is conducted by one of our highly experienced PPS team members, and consists of the following :

Current pallet position 

• Physical pallet count (in line with end of invoice period)
• Review of all unprocessed transactions (on & off)
• Review of any rejections
• Review of any in-transit pallets 
• Comparison of the above against current account balances
• Determination of current position 

Review of operational procedures

• Site visit
• Discussion with Managers/Supervisors/Drivers 
  • to gain an understanding of the current pallet procedures in place
  • to gauge level of compliance/adherence of the procedures by all parties
• Review of the current system/paperwork used to record all pallet movements    
• General review of current pallet procedures in operation

Recommendations (where required) 

• To initiate a pallet recovery program (if required)
• In respect to current trading partner issues
• Around operational compliance to existing pallet procedures
• Suggested process improvements
